Authors of Long Papers (those accepted for presentation)

Authors should submit final versions in pdf format if possible. Postscript will also be accepted.

If turning ps into pdf, the use of distill with the following pagesize option will ensure the margins turn out right:
distill -pagesize 21 29.7 cm filename.ps

The final paper should be a maximum of 8 pages, including all diagrams, figures and references.

Submissions in LaTeX are preferred - please use the ACL LaTeX style sheet and the corresponding bibliography file. The main points are summarised below:

• A4 should be used, and margins should be set so that the text lies within a rectangle of 6.5 x 9 inches (16.5 x 23cm).
• Use Times Roman font, 11pt text, and 2 columns.
• Figures and tables may span both columns.
• At the top of the first page should be the title, followed by the author(s), followed by their institution(s),address(es) and email(s). All of these should be centred.
• Please do not include page numbers in the text.

Email the final pdf (or ps) version to cluk-list@inf.ed.ac.uk, by FRIDAY DECEMBER 13.

If the file is sent as an attachment, call it surname.pdf or surname.ps.

Authors of Short Papers (those accepted as posters)

Poster Specifications

Posters should be 2 dimensional only and should be size A0 (1189mm x 841mm).

Posters should be portrait in orientation.
